A drawing? A magic carpet? Gossamer? Philipp Loersch, born 1980 in Stuttgart and currently studying in Basel, called his installation “Endemic Drawings (something is sad about me)”. The picture he positioned in the church spread out in a way that was both filigree and hazardous. Extensive drawings of intertwining organic shapes, trenches, pieces of branches, steps and windows, applied to a thin plastic sheet with felt pen, pencil and spray can.
