For a long time, Hans Josephsohn was known to only a small circle of connoisseurs. Today his oeuvre is being celebrated as a discovery. He is now considered to be one of the most important sculptors of our day. His works are exhibited worldwide in prominent cultural institutions. An outstanding selection of bronze sculptures and reliefs was shown in the Schoenthal Monastery. It was the first time his works were exhibited in the region. Indeed some of them were presented in public for the first time ever.
